Tradewinds Construction’s ongoing commitment to the environment that makes us stand out from other construction firms. In 2003, we were the first construction company in Las Vegas to earn LEED accreditation (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) granted by the U.S. Green Building Council. We are taking the initiative to promote change within our industry to improve the environmental quality of buildings and to encourage the adoption of green building practices. Not only does green building help protect the environment, but the use of such techniques also lowers energy costs and may even be acceptable for various government tax breaks. Over the years, we have provided services for many construction projects that were LEED certified.
The Lied Animal Shelter won numerous awards for their environmental compliance and sustainability. Listed below are some of the awards that we have earned through our ongoing commitment to green building practices.
